What Is Digital Planning?

Digital planners mimic the experience of using a paper planner but on an iPad or other tablet-like device.

When you purchase a Ripple Planner product, you will download a PDF file that you can use in a PDF markup app, such as Goodnotes or Notability.

Does Ripple Planner Sync With Other Apps?

Great questions!

Unfortunately, Ripple Planner was designed and optimized for use in PDF annotation apps.

That means it keeps the same model as a physical, pen-to-paper planner, so you'll need to fill in everything by hand.

Hope that helps!

How Many Times Can I Download My Ripple Planner Files?

Currently, to prevent theft and abuse of the system, Ripple Planner DOES have a cap on how many times you can download it.

You can download each digital file TWO (2) times.

We recommend that you upload your digital planner files to a cloud or Google Drive to permanently save your files in case you need to access them at a later time.

Can I Use My Undated Ripple Planner More Than Once?

YES!

Our undated planners were designed with the intent that you can use them over and over again. We call it a Forever Planner™.

That being said, any revisions or updates that are released will not be available for your current Ripple Planner if you don't purchase the updated version.

What Devices & Apps are Ripple Planner Products Compatible With?

All Ripple Planner products are designed and optimized for use with iPad devices and the Goodnotes app.

Ripple Planner is compatible withZoomNotes, Noteshelf, Notability, Drawboard, Xodo, and most PDF readers. The recommended apps are GoodNotes for iOS and Noteshelf on Android tablet. These apps are available for purchase on the app store that works specifically for your device.

We do NOT recommend using Ripple Planner on mobile devices. Ripple Planner is NOT compatible with Microsoft Surface tablets.

If you decide to use Ripple Planner on two separate devices that have two different operating systems (ie, iOS and Android), they will not automatically sync with each other.

Apple devices need to be upgraded to iOS 13 or higher & Androids need to be v6 and higher.

Ripple Planner may work with previous iOS versions, but we can not guarantee functionality.

Are There Any Physical Products That Will Be Shipped To Me?

No. Ripple Planner is only available in a digital format at this time, so there will be no items shipped out to you. Your planner will be available instantly through the order confirmation that is emailed to you.

Is There A Way To Try The Ripple Planner Process Before I Purchase It?

No, due to the digital nature of Ripple Planner, there is no way to trial it before purchase.

HOWEVER, we want you to feel confident in choosing Ripple Planner, so you're full supported by our no questions asked, 14-Day Happiness Guarantee.

If you're not satisfied with your purchase, we'll issue you a full refund within 14 days of purchase.

HELP! I Can't Click On Any Tabs Or Hyperlinks!

No worries, this is a common roadblock people run into when they're new to PDF annotation apps like Goodnotes.

If you find that your hyperlinks aren’t working (buttons or tabs) you could be in the wrong mode within your PDF markup app. Most PDF markup apps have 2 modes:

  • READING— In reading mode, editing tools (adding images, text boxes, or handwritten notes) are hidden and the hyperlinks are active.

  • EDITING— In editing mode, you’re able to access editing tools to do things like add images, text boxes, and handwritten notes. The hyperlinks are not active when you are editing, meaning you can’t click the tabs and buttons in your planner to change pages.

If you’re using GoodNotes, navigating between reading & editing mode is simple. Just tap the pencil icon in the top right corner of the screen to switch between reading and editing mode.

If you're using another app or want more in-depth tutorials on how to use your chosen PDF annotation app, we recommend Googling tutorials or referencing the official documentation for that app.

It Looks Like My Tabs Aren't Linked Correctly...

Unfortunately once your Ripple Planner has been edited or pages have been added or deleted, we can no longer give advice on the functionality, since it is different for everyone.

HOWEVER, if you delete ANY of the linked pages, this WILL impact the functionality of your planner.

While you may decide to not use every single page or template type, we suggest leaving the page as is and simply not using them. That way, the functionality of your planner will stay intact and you will have those pages to use again at a later time if you so choose.

NOTE: If you find a link that isn't working as you anticipated OR you have any feedback on how we can make updates to the linking experience to make it easier to use, let us know!

We will be continuing to optimize the planner based upon your feedback, so send us an email to hello@rippleplaner.co with what you find!

When Are Digital Stickers Coming?

I know, I know.

We're stoked to add digital stickers to the Ripple Planner experience too!

We're hard at working creating sticker & widget packs to serve all of your life visioning & productivity needs and to make Ripple Planner even MORE FUN & customizable.

But we're a small business run by one woman + a very small team of part-time creators who are passionate about creating products to support you in living the life you dream of.

Rest assured, we'll be emailing you links to download the stickers as soon as they're available for FREE.

Will Ripple Planner Be Launching Any Other Products?

YES! And we're so excited for them ☺️

You can expect dated and Sunday-start versions of Ripple Planner to be launching by November 2023, as well as black/white and neutral colorways for the inner pages.

We're also hard at work creating our Guided Discovery Journals and other products to support you in the 6 Core Life Areas (Health & Wellness, Career & Finances, Recreation & Creativity, Relationships, Spirituality & Personal Growth, and Impact).

How Do I Open Ripple Planner On My iPad After Purchasing?

Immediately after your order has been processed, you'll be emailed a link to download your digital files.

If you're on your iPad, after you click on the link to download in that email, it will then open the planner PDF as a tab in your internet browser.

From there, you'll want to click on the 'Share' icon in the upper right corner, and scroll down until you see 'Open in Goodnotes'.

This will open the Goodnotes app and ask you if you want to 'Import to Current Document' or 'Import as New Document'

For the Ripple Planner core system, you'll want to import as a new document.

For other Ripple Planner products (e.g. Guided Discovery Journals), you may want to include them behind custom tabs in your core Ripple Planner. In that case, you'll want to navigate to the custom tab you want to load the other product behind so that you know where to find it.

Can I Sync My Planner Between My iPhone and iPad?

Yes!

If you have your PDF annotation app installed on both your iPhone and your iPad, you can sync your planner between devices using iCloud. This allows you to look at any important appointments, lists, etc. while you are out.

Can I Do Digital Planning On My Phone?

You CAN open your planner on your phone, but we don't recommend planning from there.

It can feel really tricky due to the small screen size and lack of compatibility with a stylus, and we don't recommend it unless you have a lot of patience!

It's much easier to just have your iPad or tablet ready, but it's great to be able to open your planner on your phone to reference when you're on the go!

My Planner Is Loading Slowly, What Do I Do?

Ripple Planner is made to be lag-free! So this might be an issue with your app or device.

Try restarting the app you are using the planner on, restarting your device, or clearing your device storage. Your storage may be almost at full capacity so it’s keeping the app you are using from running smoothly.
